Es Licenciado y Doctor en Ciencias Físicas por la Universidad de Zaragoza. Actualmente es Científico Titular en la Estación Experimental de Aula-Dei (CSIC) e Investigador Colaborador en el Instituto de Biocomputación y Física de los Sistemas Complejos (BIFI) de la Universidad de Zaragoza.
Investiga métodos numéricos, modelos hidráulicos y software asociado. Desarrolla varios programas de aplicación al cálculo de riego por aspersión y por surcos; al cálculo de flujo y optimización en canales; y al cálculo de inundaciones en ríos.
