This session will examine if cover crops can be successful in Northern Illinois. A local Producer panel will share their experiences with cover crops. NRCS District Conservationist Mike Richolson and NRCS Area Agronomist Paul Youngstrom will discuss the agronomic benefits of raising cover crops along with cost share opportunities to establish cover crops through the USDA’s Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).
